BJP collections of Jiří Procházka

The first BJP collection began to be created at the beginning of 2020, when Jiří Procházka approached ATEX. At that time, he was looking for a Czech manufacturer of sportswear that has experience with professional athletes. In more than 30 years of its existence, ATEX has already collaborated with many famous names such as Markéta Davidová, Michal Krčmář, Petr Vabroušek and many others. Another advantage is that ATEX is based in Brno, so it was close to Jiří.

Jiří's first MMA collection

Because Jiří is among the world's best in MMA, he has a great overview of current trends. In the first collection, he wanted to focus on a red and black design that we designed together. One of the main requirements was that the clothes should be functional and, above all, durable. We adapted the choice of materials, cuts and sewing itself to this.

At Jiří's request, we also designed shorts with a high slit, which are used in Thai boxing and which allow a large range of motion. We made the rashguards from a pleasant soften material, which has a higher grammage, excellent sweat wicking and ensures a comfortable feeling of dryness during drying. Lightweight, breathable sweatshirts effectively wick away sweat from the body and dry quickly, which helps maintain optimal body temperature, prevents the feeling of humidity and keeps the body dry even in demanding conditions.

A collection for a champion

We created the BJP CHAMP collection in June 2022 before the fight with Brazilian Glover Teixeira, from which Jiří returned as the first Czech UFC light heavyweight champion. We wanted to commemorate this historic success with a black and gold collection, which includes a sports jersey, rashguard, shorts and a sweatshirt.

New minimalist collection

On 11/11/2023, another fight for the UFC light heavyweight championship belt took place, this time with the Brazilian Alex Periera. Even though the match didn't go according to our expectations, Jiří remains a champion for us. And we believe that the UFC championship belt will return to him again soon.

We created with Jiří a new collection for this occasion, which this time focuses on minimalist design and muted colors. Men can choose olive, blue and gray, women's clothing is available in light and dark pink, blue, olive, and mint. Graphically, the collection follows on from the previous ones. As well as the choice of materials and cuts, which in the past have proven themselves not only for MMA athletes. We designed the clothes to be comfortable and functional. So you can use it not only for combat sports, but also for a number of other sports and leisure activities.
