Czech successes at the Spartan 2024 WC

How did the Rehasport OCR Team members competing in ATEX clothing fare at the Spartan 2024 WC? Read in our article.

Spartan Beast World Championship 2024, Abu Dhabi

In Abu Dhabi, where 21 km with obstacles in the desert and dunes awaited the competitors, Zuzana Kocumová did well, taking 3rd place with a time of 2:31:44. "It worked out perfectly. Well... Almost. I definitely take the final third place, with joy and humility. Even though in the end, for a change, I messed up again. Those finish lines just don't work for me. And so, if I hit the javelin narrowly this time before the finish line, it could have been second place," commented Zuzana.

Trifecta World Championship 2024, Sparta

In Sparta, Greece, it took place on November 1-3. 2024 WC Trifecta. Klára Lokajíčková won the overall 5th place here. She took 4th place in the Sprint (7.5 km + 20 obstacles), 7th place in the Super (12 km + 25 obstacles) and a beautiful 3rd place in the Beast (26 km + 30 obstacles). Roman Tóth took 13th place. Many congratulations.

Spartan World Championship sprint race 2024, Hvar

Zuzana Kocumová won silver at the WC in the sprint, which took place in Hvar, Croatia, after winning the European Championship in Spartan Race in September. Only American Nicole Mericle was faster. "A wonderful and exciting race for me and the spectators until the last 100 m before the finish line, where from the last lap, thanks to my hands sliding from the sea after 180 m of swimming, I simply could not ring the bell and thereby deprived the spectators (and myself) of our battle side by side with Nicole Mericle until the finish line. But if someone had told me before this season that I would take home another European title and silver from the first Spartan World Championship sprint, I would take all ten!", Zuzana evaluated the race. 

The third place was also completed by Klára Lokajíčková, who evaluated the race as follows: "Today I ran my best sports result (so far). In a tough competition, among the best women from all over the world, I don't even understand how she won 3rd place! The sprint was approx. 6.5 km + 20 obstacles (+ approx. 400 m swimming). I didn't drown in the water and I went without mistakes in the race I ran in 4th place, I kept that until the finish line, where I found out that I was 3rd!"
